Join us to learn a few tips and tricks on how to use detoxification to your advantage this spring.
Healing With The Five Senses
Part of the Sacred Earth Festival hosted by Land by Hand in Fairbault, MN. With constant screen time, noise pollution, and our fast paced culture, we are conditioned to use to the senses to distract us from the present moment. In this experiential class, we’ll slow down, sit mindfully, and tap into the healing capacity of the five senses.
Meditation & Stress Reduction
In the peak of summer, it’s easy to get swept away in the business of the season. The best way to balance the bustle is to slow down and relax. Join us to learn simple meditations, cooling breathing exercises, and herbal stress management to calm the nervous system.
Found by the creekside, in your backyard, and growing in the cracks of the sidewalks, medicinal herbs are in abundance in Minnesota. In this class, we’ll discuss how to integrate these common weeds and local medicinal herbs into your life for greater healing. We’ll sample some tea, taste some herbal tinctures, and learn how to make simple herbal oils and salves.

The Ritual of Self Oil Massage
In this two hour workshop, we’ll slow down and drop into one of Ayurveda’s most powerful and talked about practices: Abhyanga. Also known as self oil massage, this ancient and rejuvenating practice soothes the nervous system, aids in restful sleep, and creates space for deep connection to the self.
Therapeutic Herbal Oil Infusions
Have you ever wondered what the difference is between an infused oil and an essential oil? In this class, we’ll discuss how to choose medicinal herbs, infuse them in oil for your dosha (or body type), and how to apply for best results. Supplies included!
Herbal Salve Making
Learn how to create an herbal salve using Plantain- an herb known for it’s powerful healing ability to reduce inflammation, clear toxins, repair tissue, and soothe irritated skin. We’ll dive deep into the healing benefits of this common weed, and create a slave for you to take home to use on bruises, burns, insect bites and stings, sunburn and poison Ivy.
Learn simple identification, harvesting, and preparing of Minnesota’s wild foods. When winter snow retreats and the ground begins to thaw, some of the most potent and medicinal wild foods peak their heads out of the ground. We will explore which plant allies emerge and how to use them in food and medicine.
Natural Seasonal Detoxing
The elements of spring naturally encourage the body to lighten, shed, and detoxify. Learn how to identify and align with the changing elements of the season and their corresponding change within the body. Slide into spring and summer feeling lighter, cleaner, and more refreshed.
